Chattanooga, TN (February 16, 2015)- Each year, the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce honors local small businesses who have exhibited exemplary success within their industries. This year, Viatek Consumer Products Group is pleased to announce that they are a finalist in the running for the prestigious Small Business Award!
To qualify for this award, companies must display a high level of corporate citizenship. While Viatek is committed to developing innovative products, they are also committed to community service. Founder and president Lou Lentine encourages his staff to participate in programs and projects that benefit both local and national charity organizations. This winter, staffers braved the freezing temperatures to run the Red White & Blue 5K to benefit UTC’s Student Veterans Organization. At Christmas, Viatek sponsored four children through the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree project. A member of the management team also sits as Marketing and Public Relations Chairwoman for the Friends of the Chattanooga Library’s Club Lib.
